The 2013 vintage was a complex vintage to manage. It did not rain throughout the whole summer and the harvest ended one week earlier than usual. These drought conditions yielded very good quality on the more vigorous vineyards, and caused greater stress on the south-facing vineyards. In the end, this yielded wines with highly concentrated fruit and aromas.
This vintage rendered a concentrated wine, evident in the color, aromas and flavors. Deep red colors with a bluish rim denotes its vigor. Aromas of ripe red fruits, compliment a round, ample palate and tempered with the typical mineral notes from the Priorat's licorella soils.
