Nearly opaque bright dark medium color. Bright, buttery aromas and flavors of coconut buttercream, berry custard tart, and honeyed peppercorns with an oily, vibrant, dryish medium-full body and a warming, complex, medium-length creme brulee, roasted nuts, and earth finish with chewy tannins and moderate oak. A robust, very structured, flavor-packed malbec-led red blend. Gold Medal Exceptional

Barrel Type: Aged in French oak and American oak
Septima Gran Reserva is made with grapes grown in the upper region of the Mendoza River and the Uco Valleys from three vineyards planted between 2,800 and 3,600 feet above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated at very low temperatures for three days. Traditional fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wines that are blended for this Gran Reserva are aged separately in French and American oak barrels for 12 months to produce an elegant and balanced wine.
Tasting Notes
Elegant and balanced, Septima Gran Reserva unfolds infinite pleasant sensations. The wine gives warm, sweet impact with marked tannins, great volume in middle mouth and overall wood balance with mature red fruit jam and roasted hues in a lingering aftertaste.
